The Low Emission Slurry Spreading Scheme (LESS) is a measure under the Targeted Agriculture Modernisation Scheme.
Interest in grant aid for the purchase of LESS equipment has been very strong. A total of €7.5 million was paid in 2023 to 868 applicants and €1.3 million was paid in 2024 to 149 applicants to purchase LESS machinery under the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS).
